Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Experience Analyst Associate

Microsoft retired the MB-280: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Experience Analyst Associate certification on July 31, 2026.

Its official successor is AB-210 — Dynamics 365 Sales AI Consultant Associate

AB-210 carries forward the Dynamics 365 Sales portion of MB-280, with AI and Copilot capabilities built in from the start.

Note that the scope is more focused than before: MB-280 covered the broader Customer Experience suite (Sales, model-driven apps configuration, and Customer Insights), while AB-210 is intentionally Sales-specific.

If your work also involved the Dataverse and model-driven apps configuration side of MB-280, AB-410 — Intelligent Applications Builder Associate covers that same foundation, though it is not an officially designated 1-to-1 replacement.

For the Customer Insights portion of MB-280, Microsoft has not yet announced a named successor certification.
