The Microsoft Applied Skills: Develop Generative AI Apps by Using Azure AI Foundry Portal credential proves you can build and deploy generative AI applications using the Azure AI Foundry portal. Unlike traditional exams, this credential is earned through a hands-on assessment lab that tests your ability to perform real-world tasks.
As a certified candidate, you are able to set up an Azure AI hub and project, configure connected resources such as Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure AI Search, and deploy and test models from the Azure AI model catalog. You can build custom copilots using prompt flow, implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns with your own data, configure responsible AI content filters, and assess copilot performance using built-in quality, safety, and manual evaluation metrics.
Prerequisites
Candidates are expected to have a solid understanding of fundamental AI concepts and Azure services, as well as practical programming experience. Completing the AI-900 (Azure AI Fundamentals) training is recommended as a starting point.
